  • BYU copy lacks leaves 65-67.
  • Bound by the 19th century Brussels binder named Hague, who made bindings in the style of Henri II, and sold them as originals. Bound in 19th century calf, with green, red, blue and white inlays; with silver clasps and corner pieces; goffered edges. The Catherine de Medici "C" is cleverly subordinated to the great double "D" which stood for Henri's devotion to Diane de Poitiers.
