  • Verse in three parts; first line: When Israels sons were feeding of their droves. Signed: By S. Beebee
  • Another edition appears in An answer to Mr. Wadsworth's book ... To which is added, a tragic and typical poem, concerning Joseph and his brethren. ... By Samuel Beebee. America, printed for the author, 1722
  • Included in Ford, W.C. Broadsides, ballads &c. printed in Massachusetts ... no. 490, and dated [1723]. However, since Beebee was a native of New London, Conn., and lived most of his life on nearby Plum Island, the broadside was probably printed about 1723 at New London, by that town's only printer, Timothy Green
