Summary
Amanda Bonner (Hepburn)--beautiful, intelligent, funny, rebellious and dtermined--is moved to defend a dizzy blonde who has shot her two-timing spouse. But Amanda doesn't know that her own husband, Adam (Tracy), a sharp assistant district attorney--and the very model of the easy going, smart, obstinante modern man--has been assigned as prosecutor in the case. Level-headedness quickly turns to craziness as the trial gains momentum and publicity growns around the husband/wife rivalry
