  • COLOPHON: An act or two of foolish kindness was printed at the Penmaen Press in Lincoln Massachusetts during January and February of 1977. Five hundred books were printed, with three hundred numbered 1-300 and signed by William Saroyan and Helen Siegl. The type is Times New Roman, designed by Stanley Morison, & was set by Michael McCurdy, who also designed this first edition. The paper is Curtis Rag. Carol J. Blinn designed and printed the decorative paste papers for the signed edition. This is copy 167. [signatures] William Saroyan, Helen Siegl
