  • BYU copy lacks the Dialogus de Amor, which includes the colophon; copies of the book are often found lacking these additional 18 leaves.
  • BYU copy owned in the 17th century by Thomas Howard, 2nd Earl of Arundel, who acquired the library of Bilibald Pirckheimer in 1636. Lord Arundel's grandson, the 6th Duke of Norfolk presented the library to the Royal Society, apparently on the advice of John Evelyn. In 1873 the bulk of the library was sold to Bernard Quaritch and the remainder sold at Sotheby's on 4 May 1925.--DeRicci, English Collectors, p. 25-26.
  • Stamp on leaf [1]: Soc. Reg. Lond. ex dono Henr. Howard Norfolciensis. The recto of leaf [52] bears the stamp: Roy. Soc. Sold.
