Biographical or historical data
Liberty Fuel, a Utah coal-mining company, was founded by Francisco Latuda and Frank Cameron in 1917 following Latuda's co-purchase (along with friend Charles Picco) of 326 acres of coal lands in Salt Lake City. Coal was shipped from it beginning that year; the mine closed in 1966. David James was Treasurer of the company until its dissolution in November 1967.
