Bound in modern brown goatskin; geometric blind-ruled design, in box: "When received this book was in a deteriorated out-of-period binding (19th century). The book was completely pulled and resewn on five double-raised cords. New endpapers of Dover handmade paper were sewn on. The new endbands are linen thread on a flax core cord. The full leather cover is Sirocco goatskin, blind tooled. Only minor guarding needed to be done to the sections. Rice starch paste is the only adhesive used.
