Note
  • Signatures: A-E8, F4, A-D8, E4, a-i8
  • Imprint from colophon
  • Edited by Hieronymus Avancius and Aldus Manutius
  • Dedicatory letter to Marino Sanuto, by Aldus Manutius. In this letter, Aldus mentions a press run of 3,000 for this edition. This claim is repeated in the letter to Sanuto from Hieronymus Avancius following the Catullus
  • At end of Catullus, letter of Hieronymus Avancius to Marino Sanuto, with a series of emendations to the text of Lucretius (p. F2v-F4)
  • Verso of final leaf repeats t.p., with Propertius correctly spelled
  • There is some controversy over the dating. If the date "mense Ianuario MDII" is the so-called Venetian style of dating rather than the new style, the actual year would be 1503. The 1502 date seems more likely. Cf. Fletcher p. 102-103
  • Spaces with guide letters left for capitals
