Note
  • Manuscript score
  • For soprano and baritone duet, accompanied by chamber orchestra
  • Date from list of Thomas' works. Source: Oxford Music Online
  • Includes 2 vocal scores: 1 labeled "Teresa", and 1 labeled "Antonio". Each score contains three staves: one for Teresa, one for Antonio, and one labeled "Basse". Each score is copied in a different hand
  • Includes 23 instrumental parts: 1 violon principal, 2 1st violin, 3 2nd violin, 2 viola, 1 cello, 1 cello and bass, 2 contrabass, 1 oboe (2 parts), 1 clarinet (2 parts), 1 bassoon (2 parts), 1 1st and 2nd horn, 1 3rd and 4th horn, 1 trumpet (2 parts), 1 trombone (2 parts), 1 bass trombone, 1 timpani, 1 unlabeled part. Violon principal part appears to be in the same hand as Antonio's vocal score. Other parts appear to be in the same hand as Teresa's vocal score. Some parts include vocal and instrumental cues
  • Teresa's vocal score is embossed in upper corner of each page: "Rue du Temple, Paris" inside banded rectangle with diagonal corner bars. Another rectangle made of dots appears inside the center, bearing an embossed crown with "Charnez" underneath. Clearly readable embossings appear similarly on 1st viola, 1st cello, both contrabass parts , oboe, clarinet, 1st & 2nd horn, timpani, and unlabeled parts. Other score and parts appear to have been embossed, but design is unclear
  • First line of Teresa's part: "Oh mio signor"
  • First line of Antonio's part: "Teresa, qual nome ascolto, oh ciel, tu non sole vi"
