  • Title in black and red
  • All mention of place and printer are omitted. Renouard suggests that the printing may have been by Henri, or by his son Paul since the first three Beza editions (1565, 1582, 1588-89) were all printed by Estienne, especially with the use of Estienne's typographical material such as headpieces. Or it could have been completed by the heirs of Eustache Vignon, whose imprint appears in another issue of the book
  • Beza's fourth and last major edition. Reproduces the text of the third edition of 1588 with only two alterations. Differs in 49 passages from R. Estienne's third edition of 1550. No other Greek Testament agrees so closely with the text which underlies the English New Testament in the King James Bible
  • After the preface is the dedication to Queen Elizabeth of England dated 1 Aug. 1598
  • Head- and tail-pieces; initials
  • Numerous errors in pagination
