The illustrations of William Blake have been reproduced from the original drawings now in the possession of the Pierpont Morgan Library, by special permission of the Library's Trustees. The text has been composed in Jan Krimpen's Van Dyck types by Mackenzie & Harris in San Francisco, and printed by The Thistle Press in New York; the reproductions have been made as gravures by the Photogravure & Color Company; and the whole work has been planned by Bruce Rogers."--Colophon
