Summary
Isakson relates a commonly heard story in Mormon folklore, in which Mick Jagger (a member of the Rolling Stones) tells a prominent figure in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that he sings his music to entice kids to do drugs and have sex. Isakson finds several variations of the story, and finds that the story epitomizes the folkloric features of the 'cautionary tale.' She concludes that the story is folkloric in the number of counter-tales and the amount of resistance and alteration it has inspired, but is not folkloric in that its main character (Mick Jagger) has remained the same in all stories
