Summary
Atomic Submarine: A series of mysterious sinking plagues the northern seas. Great trans-arctic submarine liners are vanishing without a trace! The nuclear powered U.S.S. Tiger Shark, the most advanced sub in the fleet, has been undergoing around-the-clock modifications to prepare for an urgent top-secret mission: to discover the cause of the Arctic disasters, and put an end to it! First man into space: A cocky test pilot disobeys orders and takes his experimental aircraft higher than anyone has flow before. Bombarded by cosmic rays, he crashes to Earth as a murderous creature. The haunted strangler: In this terrifying story, set against the sinister background of London in the gaslight days and reminiscent of the unsolved "Jack the Ripper" case, a number of young women are found brutally murdered. " Corridors of blood: Set in the primitive hospitals of 19th century London, this recounts the story of the unfortunate Dr. Bolton, an early pioneer in anesthesiology, showing his gradual addiction to drugs and his dealings with grave robbers
