  • Marks of ownership begin on [1a] with date of 1505. Presentation note from Jannis Frisius to Samuel Pelligomi, dated 1552. A late 15th century or early 16th century woodcut on inner front served as a bookplate. In the 19th century the book was acquired by James Loeb, founder of the Loeb classical library.
  • Error in binding: Fii precedes Fi.
  • Bound in contemporary blindstamped brown calf, over wooden boards, with brass and leather thongs; rebacked.
  • Contemporary marginal notations and notations preserved on inside covers.
