  • "The sonnets of William Shakespeare were handset in Bulmer type, with Stylescript for initial letters, sonnet numbers, and running heads. Smaller sizes for the introduction and index were composed in Monotype Bulmer. The type was printed by letterpress on Hahnemühle linen paper. The book was designed and produced at Arion Press under the direction of Andrew Hoyem, with the assistance of typographers, printers, and binders Gerald Reddan, Peggy Gotthold, Eric Holub, and Leif Erlandsson, editor Stephanie Dal Porto, and Peter Stoelzl and Lewis Mitchell at Mackenzie & Harris for keyboarding and typecasting. This edition, the fifty-third publication of the press, is limited to 200 numbered copies for sale and 26 lettered copies for private distribution. Completed in August of 1997. Copy 54"--Colophon.
